Speakers:
- Terry Jones Professor of Head and Neck Surgery, University of Liverpool Director, Liverpool Head and Neck Centre Group Director of Research and Innovation, University Hospitals of Liverpool Group Director of Research, Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care System Director, Cheshire and Merseyside Commercial Research Delivery Centre. Terry’s main clinical interests relate to function-sparing cancer surgery. In particular, transoral laser microsurgery (TLM).
- Rachel is the Business Development and Innovation Manager within the Research & Innovation team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, leading collaborative projects that bring industry, academia, and healthcare partners together to deliver impactful innovation. Currently supporting the Health Innovation Leeds Incubator Programme, helping companies across West Yorkshire access NHS expertise, navigate clinical evaluation, and accelerate the adoption of high-impact healthcare solutions. Experienced in partnership development, innovation delivery, and building cross-sector networks that translate ideas into real-world health improvements.
- Thomas Bradley is a Project Manager at the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Emergency and Acute Care, hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. He works at the forefront of industry, academia, and the NHS—supporting companies to navigate the complex pathway from early-stage concept through to robust clinical evidence generation and real-world adoption.
- Jane has over nine years’ experience at the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, where she has progressed from supporting skills initiatives to managing the Trade and Investment team, and now leads on the Emerging Technology sector. In this role, she champions the region’s strengths in HealthTech, a key priority for West Yorkshire, and regularly hosts international delegations to showcase the area’s innovation ecosystem.
