What we do

The NHSA acts as a front door to the health and life sciences sector in the North of England. Mandated by our member institutions, our team has a unique skillset that enables us to act as the authoritative agency on behalf of the North’s leading universities and NHS Trusts.

Through our key workstreams, we:

• Act as advocates for our members and their individual and collective activity.
• Build strong and productive clusters in the North in partnership with companies and Government.
• Meet industry needs for interaction with the system.
• Make opportunities for collaboration with the North visible nationally and internationally.
