The Northern Mental Health Network

We bring together world class clinical, academic and industry experts across the North of England in the field of mental health through the NHSA’s Northern Mental Health Network.

Convened by the NHSA, the network coordinates activities at a northern level, facilitates knowledge sharing, seeks funding for pan-northern initiatives and raises visibility of the North’s excellence in the field of mental health to Government, health policy makers, industry and international collaborators.

The Northern Mental Health Network has over 80 registered members, including representation from all the northern mental health trusts and the majority of our university members. We have recently engaged regional and national organisations such as the national NIHR Mental Health Implementation Network (MHIN), the northern NIHR ARCs, NIHR CRNs, and selected northern ICP mental health leads
