At our Parliamentary launch of the Ageing North Network’s ‘Ageing in the North’ report, the network shared key findings of the report which sets out an alarming range of disadvantages faced by older people living in our regions. Elaine Unegbu, Chair of the Greater Manchester Older People’s Network also shared her lived experience at the event.
The Ageing North network, made up of academics from Durham University Lancaster University Newcastle University The University of Sheffield and The University of Manchester, took the opportunity to speak with MPs about the stark report findings and recommendations.
