We work across the UK life sciences sector, with sister organisations such as MedCity and HIRANI, to co-ordinate the UK’s global life science offer. We build connections internationally to bring global innovation to the North and export UK expertise to the world.

Through this we take a place-based approach to strengthening the North’s health and life sciences ecosystem to deliver better health outcomes, drive economic growth and productivity. This establishes the North as a key component of the UK’s global life sciences offer.

Our cluster development in the North brings together academia, clinicians, Government and industry to enable innovation within our region and to tackle global healthcare challenges.
