
NHSA welcomes new NIHR Applied Research Collaborations
NIHR announce Applied Research Collaborations (ARCs) to tackle the biggest challenges faced by the health and care system

Nicola Wilson, CEO of the Northern Health Science Alliance, welcomes the new NIHR Applied Research Collaborations announced today.
Ms Wilson said: “The NHSA is delighted at the appointment of the new ARCs as they have such a vital part to play in the UK’s health research infrastructure.
“We, together with our members, look forward to working with ARC leads in placing innovation and research front and centre to count amongst the unique assets of the North of England’s health research system.
“The North of England has unique expertise in health research together with a population with significant health needs and we look forward to supporting them in identifying solutions and opportunities across the region.”
