NHSA Board Chair awarded Academy of Medical Sciences Fellowship

The Northern Health Science Alliance’s Board Chair, Professor Louise Kenny, is one of 60 exceptional biomedical and health scientists to receive the Academy of Medical Sciences Fellowship, it has been announced today (Thursday, May 21). Professor Kenny is among 60 biomedical and health scientist Fellows to receive this accolade.
The latest cohort of Fellows have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to advancing medical science, through discovery research, translational work and the application of scientific knowledge in ways that deliver tangible benefits for patients and the wider public.
Professor Kenny has been actively involved in the Academy’s convening work strengthening links with partners across the North of England. Louise is an internationally renowned clinician scientist and one of the world’s leading authorities on hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and developmental programming.
